Experience and wisdom make you less sure about things. You can see this in older people: the truly wise ones are often uncertain, while the bigots remain as sure about everything as they were when they didn’t know better.

The paradox is that being blindly sure about things is often a requirement to succeed, which is a reason many investors tend to bet on younger/cocky types versus more experienced founders, so commonly you see extremely successful men with zero wisdom since they got wind behind their backs and didn’t fail (often by chance)
